The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.28.46, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 46 of Madhya-khanda chapter 28—“The Lord’s Pastime of Accepting Sannyasa”.

`দণ্ড চারি রাত্রি আছে’ ঠাকুর জানিযাউ ঠিলেন চলিবারে নসা-ঘ্রাণ লৈযা ॥ ৪৬ ॥

`दण्ड चारि रात्रि आछे’ ठाकुर जानियाउ ठिलेन चलिबारे नसा-घ्राण लैया ॥ ४६ ॥

`daṇḍa cāri rātri āche’ ṭhākura jāniyāu ṭhilena calibāre nasā-ghrāṇa laiyā || 46 ||

`danda cari ratri ache’ thakura janiyau thilena calibare nasa-ghrana laiya (46)

English translation:

(46) The Lord woke for leaving during the brahma-muhūrta. He understood that the auspicious time for His departure had come by

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

observing the passage of air through His nose.

During the brahma-muhūrta, Śrī Gaurasundara observed the movement of His breath through His nose and decided that the auspicious time for His departure had come.
