The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.26.183, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 183 of Madhya-khanda chapter 26—“Descriptions of the Mercy Bestowed on Shuklambara and Vijay and the Lord’s Desire to Accept Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.26.183:

“সে কেশের দিব্য গন্ধ না লৈব আর” এত বলি’ শিরে কর হানযে অপার ॥ ১৮৩ ॥

“से केशेर दिव्य गन्ध ना लैब आर” एत बलि’ शिरे कर हानये अपार ॥ १८३ ॥

“se keśera divya gandha nā laiba āra” eta bali’ śire kara hānaye apāra || 183 ||

“se kesera divya gandha na laiba ara” eta bali’ sire kara hanaye apara (183)

English translation:

(183) Someone slapped his head while saying, “I will no longer smell the divine fragrance of His hair!”
