The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.26.176, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 176 of Madhya-khanda chapter 26—“Descriptions of the Mercy Bestowed on Shuklambara and Vijay and the Lord’s Desire to Accept Sannyasa”.

ঘরেতে থাকিলে কি ঈশ্বরের প্রীত নয গৃহস্থ সে সবার প্রীতের স্থলী হয ॥ ১৭৬ ॥

घरेते थाकिले कि ईश्वरेर प्रीत नय गृहस्थ से सबार प्रीतेर स्थली हय ॥ १७६ ॥

gharete thākile ki īśvarera prīta naya gṛhastha se sabāra prītera sthalī haya || 176 ||

gharete thakile ki isvarera prita naya grhastha se sabara pritera sthali haya (176)

English translation:

(176) “Is the Supreme Lord not pleased if one stays at home? A
