The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.26.132, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 132 of Madhya-khanda chapter 26—“Descriptions of the Mercy Bestowed on Shuklambara and Vijay and the Lord’s Desire to Accept Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.26.132:

দেখ কালি শিখা-সূত্র সব মুডাই যাভিক্ষা করি’ বেডাইমু সন্ন্যাস করিযা ॥ ১৩২ ॥

देख कालि शिखा-सूत्र सब मुडाइ याभिक्षा करि’ वेडाइमु सन्न्यास करिया ॥ १३२ ॥

dekha kāli śikhā-sūtra saba muḍāi yābhikṣā kari’ veḍāimu sannyāsa kariyā || 132 ||

dekha kali sikha-sutra saba mudai yabhiksa kari’ vedaimu sannyasa kariya (132)

English translation:

(132) “Soon You will see Me shave My head and give up My brāhmaṇa

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

thread. I will wander about begging as a sannyāsī.
