The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.26.82, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 82 of Madhya-khanda chapter 26—“Descriptions of the Mercy Bestowed on Shuklambara and Vijay and the Lord’s Desire to Accept Sannyasa”.

পূর্বে যেন গোপী-সব কৃষ্ণের বিরহে পাযেন মরণ ভয চন্দ্রের উদযে ॥ ৮২ ॥
पूर्वे येन गोपी-सब कृष्णेर विरहे पायेन मरण भय चन्द्रेर उदये ॥ ८२ ॥
pūrve yena gopī-saba kṛṣṇera virahe pāyena maraṇa bhaya candrera udaye || 82 ||
purve yena gopi-saba krsnera virahe payena marana bhaya candrera udaye (82)
English translation:
(82) The gopīs previously feared that when the moon rose they would die out of separation from Kṛṣṇa.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
When the gopīs, who were afflicted with separation because of not attaining the moonlike face of Śrī Kṛṣṇacandra, saw in the sky the rising moon, which resembles the moonlike face of Kṛṣṇa, they exhibited in their separation from Kṛṣṇa ten states of ecstatic love headed by death.
Such transcendental sentiments were exhibited by Gaurasundara.
