The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.26.39, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 39 of Madhya-khanda chapter 26—“Descriptions of the Mercy Bestowed on Shuklambara and Vijay and the Lord’s Desire to Accept Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.26.39:

`আঙ্খরিযা-বিজয’ করিযা সবে ঘোষে’ মর্ম নাহি জানে লোক ভক্তি-হীন দোষে ॥ ৩৯ ॥

`आङ्खरिया-विजय’ करिया सबे घोषे’ मर्म नाहि जाने लोक भक्ति-हीन दोषे ॥ ३९ ॥

`āṅkhariyā-vijaya’ kariyā sabe ghoṣe’ marma nāhi jāne loka bhakti-hīna doṣe || 39 ||

`ankhariya-vijaya’ kariya sabe ghose’ marma nahi jane loka bhakti-hina dose (39)

English translation:

(39) People called him āṅkhariyā Vijaya, but because they were devoid of devotion they did not know his glories.
