The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.25.49, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 49 of Madhya-khanda chapter 25—“The Discourse on Spiritual Knowledge by Shrivasa’s Dead Son”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.25.49:

পরলোক হৈযাছে আডাই প্রহর এবে আজ্ঞা দেহ’ কার্য করিতে সত্বর” ॥ ৪৯ ॥

परलोक हैयाछे आडाइ प्रहर एबे आज्ञा देह’ कार्य करिते सत्वर” ॥ ४९ ॥

paraloka haiyāche āḍāi prahara ebe ājñā deha’ kārya karite satvara” || 49 ||

paraloka haiyache adai prahara ebe ajna deha’ karya karite satvara” (49)

English translation:

(49) “It is nearly seven and a half hours since the child left his body. Now please give us permission to perform the last rites.”
