The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.24.87, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 87 of Madhya-khanda chapter 24—“The Lord Displays His Universal Form to Advaita”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.24.87:

আমি মারিলে ও কিছু বলিতে না পার আমা’—সনে তুমি অকারণে গর্ব কর” ॥ ৮৭ ॥

आमि मारिले ओ किछु बलिते ना पार आमा’—सने तुमि अकारणे गर्व कर” ॥ ८७ ॥

āmi mārile o kichu balite nā pāra āmā’—sane tumi akāraṇe garva kara” || 87 ||

ami marile o kichu balite na para ama’—sane tumi akarane garva kara” (87)

English translation:

(87) “Even if I beat You, You cannot say anything, yet You display Your pride before Me without any reason.”
