The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.396, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 396 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.396:

পুষ্পের সহিত ডাল ছিণ্ডিযা ছিণ্ডিযা `হরি’ বলি’ নাচে সব শ্রুতি-মূলে দিযা ॥ ৩৯৬ ॥

पुष्पेर सहित डाल छिण्डिया छिण्डिया `हरि’ बलि’ नाचे सब श्रुति-मूले दिया ॥ ३९६ ॥

puṣpera sahita ḍāla chiṇḍiyā chiṇḍiyā `hari’ bali’ nāce saba śruti-mūle diyā || 396 ||

puspera sahita dala chindiya chindiya `hari’ bali’ nace saba sruti-mule diya (396)

English translation:

(396) They tore the flowers with their stems from the uprooted plants and tucked them behind their ears while chanting the name of Hari.
