The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.360, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 360 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.360:

কাজী বলে,—“শুন’ ভাই, কি গীত-বাদন! কিবা কা’র বিভা, কিবা ভূতের কীর্তন ॥ ৩৬০ ॥

काजी बले,—“शुन’ भाइ, कि गीत-वादन! किबा का’र विभा, किबा भूतेर कीर्तन ॥ ३६० ॥

kājī bale,—“śuna’ bhāi, ki gīta-vādana! kibā kā’ra vibhā, kibā bhūtera kīrtana || 360 ||

kaji bale,—“suna’ bhai, ki gita-vadana! kiba ka’ra vibha, kiba bhutera kirtana (360)

English translation:

(360) The Kazi said, “Listen, brothers, what is that singing and music? Is it someone’s marriage, or is it the kīrtana of some ghostly beings?
