The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.316, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 316 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.316:

কেহ বলে,—“মুঞি এই নিমাই পণ্ডিত জগত উদ্ধার লাগি’ হৈনু বিদিত” ॥ ৩১৬ ॥

केह बले,—“मुञि एइ निमाइ पण्डित जगत उद्धार लागि’ हैनु विदित” ॥ ३१६ ॥

keha bale,—“muñi ei nimāi paṇḍita jagata uddhāra lāgi’ hainu vidita” || 316 ||

keha bale,—“muni ei nimai pandita jagata uddhara lagi’ hainu vidita” (316)

English translation:

(316) Someone said, “I am Nimāi Paṇḍita. I have advented to deliver the world.”
