The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.314, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 314 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.314:

কেহ কা’রো চরণ ধরিযা পডি’ কান্দে কেহ কা’রো চরণ আপন কেশে বান্ধে ॥ ৩১৪ ॥

केह का’रो चरण धरिया पडि’ कान्दे केह का’रो चरण आपन केशे बान्धे ॥ ३१४ ॥

keha kā’ro caraṇa dhariyā paḍi’ kānde keha kā’ro caraṇa āpana keśe bāndhe || 314 ||

keha ka’ro carana dhariya padi’ kande keha ka’ro carana apana kese bandhe (314)

English translation:

(314) Some grabbed other’s feet and cried, and some tied other’s feet with their hair.
