The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.288, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 288 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

কে বুঝে সে তত্ত্ব, অচিন্ত্য মহত্ত্ব, সেই ক্ষণে কহে আন দন্তে তৃণ ধরি’, `প্রভু প্রভু’ বলি’, মাগযে ভকতি-দান ॥ ২৮৮ ॥

के बुझे से तत्त्व, अचिन्त्य महत्त्व, सेइ क्षणे कहे आन दन्ते तृण धरि’, `प्रभु प्रभु’ बलि’, मागये भकति-दान ॥ २८८ ॥

ke bujhe se tattva, acintya mahattva, sei kṣaṇe kahe āna dante tṛṇa dhari’, `prabhu prabhu’ bali’, māgaye bhakati-dāna || 288 ||

English translation:

(288) Who can understand the truth of His inconceivable glories? In the

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

very next moment He would take a straw between His teeth and beg for devotional service while calling out, “O Lord! O Lord!”
