The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.257, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 257 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.257:

সে কারুণ্য দেখিতে, সে ক্রন্দন শুনিতে পরম-লম্পট পডে কান্দিযা ভূমিতে ॥ ২৫৭ ॥

से कारुण्य देखिते, से क्रन्दन शुनिते परम-लम्पट पडे कान्दिया भूमिते ॥ २५७ ॥

se kāruṇya dekhite, se krandana śunite parama-lampaṭa paḍe kāndiyā bhūmite || 257 ||

se karunya dekhite, se krandana sunite parama-lampata pade kandiya bhumite (257)

English translation:

(257) On seeing such compassion and on hearing such crying even the greatest debauchees fell to the ground weeping.
