The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.229, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 229 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.229:

বিজয করিলা যেন নন্দ-ঘোষের বালাহা তেতে মোহন-বাংশী, গলে বনমালা ॥ ২২৯ ॥

विजय करिला येन नन्द-घोषेर बालाहा तेते मोहन-वांशी, गले वनमाला ॥ २२९ ॥

vijaya karilā yena nanda-ghoṣera bālāhā tete mohana-vāṃśī, gale vanamālā || 229 ||

vijaya karila yena nanda-ghosera balaha tete mohana-vamsi, gale vanamala (229)

English translation:

(229) It appeared that the son of Nanda Mahārāja had descended with an enchanting flute in His hands and a garland of forest flowers around His neck.
