The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.227, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 227 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.227:

হস্ত যে হৈল চারি, তাহে নাহি জানে আপনার স্মৃতি গেল, তবে তালি কেনে ॥ ২২৭ ॥

हस्त ये हैल चारि, ताहे नाहि जाने आपनार स्मृति गेल, तबे तालि केने ॥ २२७ ॥

hasta ye haila cāri, tāhe nāhi jāne āpanāra smṛti gela, tabe tāli kene || 227 ||

hasta ye haila cari, tahe nahi jane apanara smrti gela, tabe tali kene (227)

English translation:

(227) They did not notice that they had four arms. They even forgot themselves, so how did they clap their hands?
