The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.176, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 176 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.176:

জ্যোতির্ময কনক-বিগ্রহ বেদ-সার চন্দনে ভূষিত যেন চন্দ্রের আকার ॥ ১৭৬ ॥

ज्योतिर्मय कनक-विग्रह वेद-सार चन्दने भूषित येन चन्द्रेर आकार ॥ १७६ ॥

jyotirmaya kanaka-vigraha veda-sāra candane bhūṣita yena candrera ākāra || 176 ||

jyotirmaya kanaka-vigraha veda-sara candane bhusita yena candrera akara (176)

English translation:

(176) His effulgent golden form is the essence of the Vedas. He was decorated with sandalwood paste and appeared like the moon.
