The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.129, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 129 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

তত-ক্ষণে চলিলেন নগরিযা-গণ পুলকে পূর্ণিত সবে, কিসের ভোজন? ॥ ১২৯ ॥

तत-क्षणे चलिलेन नगरिया-गण पुलके पूर्णित सबे, किसेर भोजन? ॥ १२९ ॥

tata-kṣaṇe calilena nagariyā-gaṇa pulake pūrṇita sabe, kisera bhojana? || 129 ||

tata-ksane calilena nagariya-gana pulake purnita sabe, kisera bhojana? (129)

English translation:

(129) As all the residents immediately left to get ready, the hairs of their bodies stood on end. What need did they have of eating?
