The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.104, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 104 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

আথেব্যথে পলাইল নগরিযা-গণ মহাত্রাসে কেশ কেহ না করে বন্ধন ॥ ১০৪ ॥

आथेव्यथे पलाइल नगरिया-गण महात्रासे केश केह ना करे बन्धन ॥ १०४ ॥

āthevyathe palāila nagariyā-gaṇa mahātrāse keśa keha nā kare bandhana || 104 ||

athevyathe palaila nagariya-gana mahatrase kesa keha na kare bandhana (104)

English translation:

(104) The townspeople quickly ran away. Out of fear they did not even tie their hair.
