The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.84, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 84 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.84:

সন্ধ্যা হৈলে আপনার দ্বারে সবে মিলি’ কীর্তন করেন সবে দিযা করতালি ॥ ৮৪ ॥

सन्ध्या हैले आपनार द्वारे सबे मिलि’ कीर्तन करेन सबे दिया करतालि ॥ ८४ ॥

sandhyā haile āpanāra dvāre sabe mili’ kīrtana karena sabe diyā karatāli || 84 ||

sandhya haile apanara dvare sabe mili’ kirtana karena sabe diya karatali (84)

English translation:

(84) In the evenings they gathered in their houses and performed kīrtana

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

while clapping their hands.
