The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.15, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 15 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.15:

কেহ বা কাহারো ঠাঞি পরিহার করে সঙ্গোপে সঙ্কীর্তন গিযা দেখিবার তরে ॥ ১৫ ॥

केह वा काहारो ठाञि परिहार करे सङ्गोपे सङ्कीर्तन गिया देखिबार तरे ॥ १५ ॥

keha vā kāhāro ṭhāñi parihāra kare saṅgope saṅkīrtana giyā dekhibāra tare || 15 ||

keha va kaharo thani parihara kare sangope sankirtana giya dekhibara tare (15)

English translation:

(15) Some people requested the devotees to let them inside so that they could secretly watch the saṅkīrtana.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word parihāra means “request” or “appeal.”

Someone revealed his own misfortune and requested one of the devotees to allow him to secretly watch the Lord’s kīrtana pastimes.
