The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.11, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 11 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.23.11:

কেহ বলে,—“আরে ভাই, জানিহ নিশ্চিত গ্রাম-খান নষ্ট কৈল নিমাই পণ্ডিত” ॥ ১১ ॥

केह बले,—“आरे भाइ, जानिह निश्चित ग्राम-खान नष्ट कैल निमाइ पण्डित” ॥ ११ ॥

keha bale,—“āre bhāi, jāniha niścita grāma-khāna naṣṭa kaila nimāi paṇḍita” || 11 ||

keha bale,—“are bhai, janiha niscita grama-khana nasta kaila nimai pandita” (11)

English translation:

(11) Someone said, “O brother, know for certain that Nimāi Paṇḍita will ruin the entire village.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

“By introducing pure devotional service, Nimāi Paṇḍita has destroyed the happiness of the village. Therefore the entire Navadvīpa has been ruined.”
