The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.6, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 6 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

প্রতি-দিন নিশাভাগে করযে কীর্তন ভক্ত-বিনু থাকিতে না পায অন্য জন ॥ ৬ ॥

प्रति-दिन निशाभागे करये कीर्तन भक्त-विनु थाकिते ना पाय अन्य जन ॥ ६ ॥

prati-dina niśābhāge karaye kīrtana bhakta-vinu thākite nā pāya anya jana || 6 ||

prati-dina nisabhage karaye kirtana bhakta-vinu thakite na paya anya jana (6)

English translation:

(6) The Lord performed kīrtana every night. No one except the devotees could participate.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

While the Lord taught at night the process of worship through kīrtana, outsiders were not allowed.
