The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.22.58, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 58 of Madhya-khanda chapter 22—“Delivering Shacidevi from Offense and Descriptions of Nityananda’s Qualities”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.22.58:

বস্তু-বিচারেতে সেহ অপরাধ নহে তথাপিহ `অপরাধ’ করি’ প্রভু কহে ॥ ৫৮ ॥

वस्तु-विचारेते सेह अपराध नहे तथापिह `अपराध’ करि’ प्रभु कहे ॥ ५८ ॥

vastu-vicārete seha aparādha nahe tathāpiha `aparādha’ kari’ prabhu kahe || 58 ||

vastu-vicarete seha aparadha nahe tathapiha `aparadha’ kari’ prabhu kahe (58)

English translation:

(58) Actually it was not even an offense, yet the Lord treated it as an offense.
