The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.21.54, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 54 of Madhya-khanda chapter 21—“The Lord’s Chastisement of Devananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.21.54:

`দেবানন্দ পণ্ডিতের শ্রীবাসের স্থানে পূর্ব আপরাধ আছে’, তাহা হৈল মনে ॥ ৫৪ ॥

`देवानन्द पण्डितेर श्रीवासेर स्थाने पूर्व आपराध आछे’, ताहा हैल मने ॥ ५४ ॥

`devānanda paṇḍitera śrīvāsera sthāne pūrva āparādha āche’, tāhā haila mane || 54 ||

`devananda panditera srivasera sthane purva aparadha ache’, taha haila mane (54)

English translation:

(54) The Lord remembered how Devānanda Paṇḍita had previously committed an offense against Śrīvāsa Paṇḍita.
