The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.21.31, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 31 of Madhya-khanda chapter 21—“The Lord’s Chastisement of Devananda”.

নগরের অন্তে আছে মদ্যপের ঘর যাইতে পাইলা গন্ধ প্রভু বিশ্বম্ভর ॥ ৩১ ॥

नगरेर अन्ते आछे मद्यपेर घर याइते पाइला गन्ध प्रभु विश्वम्भर ॥ ३१ ॥

nagarera ante āche madyapera ghara yāite pāilā gandha prabhu viśvambhara || 31 ||

nagarera ante ache madyapera ghara yaite paila gandha prabhu visvambhara (31)

English translation:

(31) As Lord Viśvambhara was passing by a tavern at the edge of town, He smelled the wine.
