The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.21.27, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 27 of Madhya-khanda chapter 21—“The Lord’s Chastisement of Devananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.21.27:

সে-সব লোকের যথা ভাগবতে ভ্রম তাতে যে অন্যের গর্ব, তার শাস্তা যম ॥ ২৭ ॥

से-सब लोकेर यथा भागवते भ्रम ताते ये अन्येर गर्व, तार शास्ता यम ॥ २७ ॥

se-saba lokera yathā bhāgavate bhrama tāte ye anyera garva, tāra śāstā yama || 27 ||

se-saba lokera yatha bhagavate bhrama tate ye anyera garva, tara sasta yama (27)

English translation:

(27) Yet Yamarāja punishes one who glorifies such reciters who have misunderstood Śrīmad Bhāgavatam.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Yamarāja, the bestower of punishment and reward and the judge of good and bad, awards punishment to those who endeavor to increase the prestige of learned scholars, who in spite of being educated and filled with all good qualities and ingenuity can become mistaken while abstracting the true meaning of Śrīmad Bhāgavatam.
