The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.20.141, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 141 of Madhya-khanda chapter 20—“The Glories of Murari Gupta”.

হরন্তি দস্যবো ‘কুট্যাং বিমোহ্যাস্ত্রৈর্ নৃণাং ধনম্ চারিত্রৈর্ অতি-তীক্ষ্নাগ্রৈর্ বাদৈর্ এবং বক-ব্রতাঃ ॥ ১৪১ ॥

हरन्ति दस्यवो ‘कुट्यां विमोह्यास्त्रैर् नृणां धनम् चारित्रैर् अति-तीक्ष्नाग्रैर् वादैर् एवं बक-व्रताः ॥ १४१ ॥

haranti dasyavo ‘kuṭyāṃ vimohyāstrair nṛṇāṃ dhanam cāritrair ati-tīkṣnāgrair vādair evaṃ baka-vratāḥ || 141 ||

haranti dasyavo ‘kutyam vimohyastrair nrnam dhanam caritrair ati-tiksnagrair vadair evam baka-vratah (141)

English translation:

(141) “Plunderers steal people’s wealth in solitary places by threatening them with weapons, whereas hypocrites steal people’s wealth by bewildering them with heart-piercing words.”
