অন্তরে বিহ্বল গুপ্ত চলে নিজ বাসে এক বলে, আর করে, খলখলী হাসে পরম উল্লাসে বলে `করিব ভোজন’ পতি-ব্রতা অন্ন আনি’ কৈল উপসন্ন বিহ্বল মুরারি গুপ্ত চৈতন্যের রসে `খাও খাও’ বলি’ অন্ন ফেলে গ্রাসে গ্রাসে ঘৃত মাখি’ অন্ন সব পৃথিবীতে ফেলে `খাও খাও খাও কৃষ্ণ’ এই বোল বলে হাসে পতি-ব্রতা দেখি’ গুপ্তের ব্যাভার পুনঃ পুনঃ অন্ন আনি’ দেয বারে বার `মহা-ভাগবত গুপ্ত’ পতি-ব্রতা জানে `কৃষ্ণ’ বলি’ গুপ্তেরে করায সাবধানে মুরারি দিলে সে প্রভু করযে ভোজন কভু না লঙ্ঘযে প্রভু গুপ্তের বচন ॥ ৫৪-০৬০ ॥

अन्तरे विह्वल गुप्त चले निज वासे एक बले, आर करे, खलखली हासे परम उल्लासे बले `करिब भोजन’ पति-व्रता अन्न आनि’ कैल उपसन्न विह्वल मुरारि गुप्त चैतन्येर रसे `खाओ खाओ’ बलि’ अन्न फेले ग्रासे ग्रासे घृत माखि’ अन्न सब पृथिवीते फेले `खाओ खाओ खाओ कृष्ण’ एइ बोल बले हासे पति-व्रता देखि’ गुप्तेर व्याभार पुनः पुनः अन्न आनि’ देय बारे बार `महा-भागवत गुप्त’ पति-व्रता जाने `कृष्ण’ बलि’ गुप्तेरे कराय सावधाने मुरारि दिले से प्रभु करये भोजन कभु ना लङ्घये प्रभु गुप्तेर वचन ॥ ५४-०६० ॥

English translation:

(54-060) When Murāri returned home, his heart was overwhelmed. He would chuckle to himself as he said one thing and did something else. In jubilation he said, “I will eat now.” Then his chaste wife brought lunch for him. Being overwhelmed with love for Lord Caitanya, Murāri Gupta threw handfuls of rice to the floor while calling out, “Eat! Eat!” As he threw rice mixed with ghee to the floor, he repeatedly exclaimed, “Eat Kṛṣṇa! Eat!” On seeing Murāri’s behavior, his chaste wife laughed. She repeatedly brought more rice and placed it on his plate. Murāri’s chaste wife knew that he was a mahā-bhāgavata, so she cautioned him by chanting the name of Kṛṣṇa. Whatever Murāri offered, the Lord ate. The Lord never disregarded Murāri’s request.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

After returning home, Murāri offered Kṛṣṇa rice cooked by his wife by throwing handfuls of it to the floor in his house. A large quantity of rice was offered in this way. Mahāprabhu could not reject the rice that was offered by Murāri. Whenever devotees eagerly serve the Lord, the Lord, being controlled by service, accepts that.
