The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.19.89, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 89 of Madhya-khanda chapter 19—“The Lord’s Pastimes in Advaita’s House”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.19.89:

`আনন্দ আনিব’—ন্যাসী বলে বার-বার নিত্যানন্দ বলে,—“তবে লড সে আমার” ॥ ৮৯ ॥

`आनन्द आनिब’—न्यासी बले बार-बार नित्यानन्द बले,—“तबे लड से आमार” ॥ ८९ ॥

`ānanda āniba’—nyāsī bale bāra-bāra nityānanda bale,—“tabe laḍa se āmāra” || 89 ||

`ananda aniba’—nyasi bale bara-bara nityananda bale,—“tabe lada se amara” (89)

English translation:

(89) The sannyāsī repeatedly asked, “Shall I bring some ānanda?” Nityānanda replied, “We should go now.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

When Śrīman Nityānanda Prabhu saw the dārī sannyāsī’s eagerness to make Them drink wine, He told him They had to leave.
