The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.19.35, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 35 of Madhya-khanda chapter 19—“The Lord’s Pastimes in Advaita’s House”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.19.35:

কোন দেব বলে,—“শুন বচন আমার মূল চন্দ্র—এক, এক প্রতিবিম্ব আর” ॥ ৩৫ ॥

कोन देव बले,—“शुन वचन आमार मूल चन्द्र—एक, एक प्रतिबिम्ब आर” ॥ ३५ ॥

kona deva bale,—“śuna vacana āmāra mūla candra—eka, eka pratibimba āra” || 35 ||

kona deva bale,—“suna vacana amara mula candra—eka, eka pratibimba ara” (35)

English translation:

(35) One of the demigods said, “Listen to my words. One is the original moon, and the other is a reflection.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Svayaṃ-rūpa Lord Kṛṣṇacandra is the original moon, and svayaṃ- prakāśa Baladeva is His manifestation. In Laghu-bhāgavatāmṛta (1.21) it is stated:

anekatra prakaṭatā rūpasyaikasya yaikadā sarvathā tat-svarūpaiva sa prakāśa itīryate

“If numerous forms, all equal in their features, are displayed simultaneously, such forms are called prakāśa-vigrahas of the Lord.”
