The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.18.5, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 5 of Madhya-khanda chapter 18—“Mahaprabhu’s Dancing as a Gopi”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.18.5:

মধ্য-খণ্ড কথা ভাই শুন এক-মনে লক্ষ্মী-কাচে প্রভু নৃত্য করিলা যেমনে ॥ ৫ ॥

मध्य-खण्ड कथा भाइ शुन एक-मने लक्ष्मी-काचे प्रभु नृत्य करिला येमने ॥ ५ ॥

madhya-khaṇḍa kathā bhāi śuna eka-mane lakṣmī-kāce prabhu nṛtya karilā yemane || 5 ||

madhya-khanda katha bhai suna eka-mane laksmi-kace prabhu nrtya karila yemane (5)

English translation:

(5) O brothers, please hear with fixed mind the topics of the Madhya- khaṇḍa, which describes how the Lord danced in the dress of Lakṣmī.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The phrase lakṣmī-kāce means "to act in the dress of Lakṣmī."
