The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.17.42, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 42 of Madhya-khanda chapter 17—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa and Descriptions of the Devotees’ Glories”.

অভিমানে সেবকেরা বলিল বচন প্রভু তাহে লৈবে কি ভৃত্যের জীবন?” ॥ ৪২ ॥
अभिमाने सेवकेरा बलिल वचन प्रभु ताहे लैबे कि भृत्येर जीवन?” ॥ ४२ ॥
abhimāne sevakerā balila vacana prabhu tāhe laibe ki bhṛtyera jīvana?” || 42 ||
abhimane sevakera balila vacana prabhu tahe laibe ki bhrtyera jivana?” (42)
English translation:
(42) “If servants speak something out of pride, does their master take their lives?”
