The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.17.33, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 33 of Madhya-khanda chapter 17—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa and Descriptions of the Devotees’ Glories”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.17.33:

প্রেম-শূন্য শরীর থুইযা কিবা কাজ চিন্তিযা পডিলা প্রভু জাহ্নবীর মাঝ ॥ ৩৩ ॥

प्रेम-शून्य शरीर थुइया किबा काज चिन्तिया पडिला प्रभु जाह्नवीर माझ ॥ ३३ ॥

prema-śūnya śarīra thuiyā kibā kāja cintiyā paḍilā prabhu jāhnavīra mājha || 33 ||

prema-sunya sarira thuiya kiba kaja cintiya padila prabhu jahnavira majha (33)

English translation:

(33) Thinking that there was no use in keeping a body devoid of love of God, the Lord jumped into the Ganges.
