The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.16.117, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 117 of Madhya-khanda chapter 16—“The Lord’s Acceptance of Shuklambara’s Rice”.

পূর্বে যেন আছিল দরিদ্র দামোদর সেই মত শুক্লাম্বর বিষ্ণু-ভক্তি-ধর ॥ ১১৭ ॥
पूर्वे येन आछिल दरिद्र दामोदर सेइ मत शुक्लाम्बर विष्णु-भक्ति-धर ॥ ११७ ॥
pūrve yena āchila daridra dāmodara sei mata śuklāmbara viṣṇu-bhakti-dhara || 117 ||
purve yena achila daridra damodara sei mata suklambara visnu-bhakti-dhara (117)
English translation:
(117) Śuklāmbara engaged in the devotional service of Viṣṇu just as the poor Dāmodara did previously.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word dāmodara refers to the brāhmaṇa named Śrīdāma or Śrīdāmā (Sudāmā). He was Kṛṣṇa’s friend and companion. (One should discuss Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, Tenth Canto, Chapter Eighty.)
