The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.14.17, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 17 of Madhya-khanda chapter 14—“Yamaraja’s Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.14.17:

না লিখিলে হয শাস্তি, হেন লাগি’ লিখি পর্বত-প্রমাণ গডা আছে তার সাক্ষী ॥ ১৭ ॥

ना लिखिले हय शास्ति, हेन लागि’ लिखि पर्वत-प्रमाण गडा आछे तार साक्षी ॥ १७ ॥

nā likhile haya śāsti, hena lāgi’ likhi parvata-pramāṇa gaḍā āche tāra sākṣī || 17 ||

na likhile haya sasti, hena lagi’ likhi parvata-pramana gada ache tara saksi (17)

English translation:

(17) “`If you don’t record them, we will be punished. That is why this mountain of records is there for evidence.
