The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.14.11, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 11 of Madhya-khanda chapter 14—“Yamaraja’s Sankirtana”.

চিত্রগুপ্ত বলে,—“শুন ধর্ম যমরাজ এ বিফল পরিশ্রমে আর কিবা কাজ? ॥ ১১ ॥

चित्रगुप्त बले,—“शुन धर्म यमराज ए विफल परिश्रमे आर किबा काज? ॥ ११ ॥

citragupta bale,—“śuna dharma yamarāja e viphala pariśrame āra kibā kāja? || 11 ||

citragupta bale,—“suna dharma yamaraja e viphala parisrame ara kiba kaja? (11)

English translation:

(11) Citragupta replied, “O Yamarāja, listen. What is the use of such a futile endeavor?
