The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.13.268, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 268 of Madhya-khanda chapter 13—“The Deliverance of Jagai and Madhai”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.13.268:

`নারাযণ’ নাম শুনি’ অজামিল-মুখে চারি মহাজন আইলা, সেই জন দেখে ॥ ২৬৮ ॥

`नारायण’ नाम शुनि’ अजामिल-मुखे चारि महाजन आइला, सेइ जन देखे ॥ २६८ ॥

`nārāyaṇa’ nāma śuni’ ajāmila-mukhe cāri mahājana āilā, sei jana dekhe || 268 ||

`narayana’ nama suni’ ajamila-mukhe cari mahajana aila, sei jana dekhe (268)

English translation:

(268) “On hearing the name `Nārāyaṇa’ from the mouth of Ajāmila, four

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

mahājanas came and appeared before him.

The moment Ajāmila uttered the name “Nārāyaṇa,” four Viṣṇudūtas came before him. Ajāmila saw that.
