The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.12.6, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 6 of Madhya-khanda chapter 12—“The Glories of Nityananda”.

বর্ষাতে গঙ্গাযে ঢেউ কুম্ভীরে বেষ্টিত তাহাতে ভাসযে, তিলার্ধেক নাহি ভীত ॥ ৬ ॥

वर्षाते गङ्गाये ढेउ कुम्भीरे वेष्टित ताहाते भासये, तिलार्धेक नाहि भीत ॥ ६ ॥

varṣāte gaṅgāye ḍheu kumbhīre veṣṭita tāhāte bhāsaye, tilārdheka nāhi bhīta || 6 ||

varsate gangaye dheu kumbhire vestita tahate bhasaye, tilardheka nahi bhita (6)

English translation:

(6) During the rainy season the waves of the Ganges were full of crocodiles, yet Nityānanda fearlessly floated in those waters.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

During the rainy season many crocodiles were seen in the river. Nityānanda did not for even a moment become afraid to play in the waters of such a crocodile-infested river.
