The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.11.84, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 84 of Madhya-khanda chapter 11—“The Characteristics of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.11.84:

“হায হায”বলে আই—“কেনে ফেলাইলা?” নিত্যানন্দ বলে,—“কেনে এক ঠাঞি দিলা?” ॥ ৮৪ ॥

“हाय हाय”बले आइ—“केने फेलाइला?” नित्यानन्द बले,—“केने एक ठाञि दिला?” ॥ ८४ ॥

“hāya hāya”bale āi—“kene phelāilā?” nityānanda bale,—“kene eka ṭhāñi dilā?” || 84 ||

“haya haya”bale ai—“kene phelaila?” nityananda bale,—“kene eka thani dila?” (84)

English translation:

(84) “Alas! Alas!” said mother Śacī, “Why did You throw them away?” Nityānanda replied “Why did you give them to Me all at once?”
