The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.10.174, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 174 of Madhya-khanda chapter 10—“Conclusion of the Lord’s Maha-prakasha Pastimes”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.10.174:

মুকুন্দ আছেন অন্তঃপটের বাহিরে সম্মুখ হৈতে শক্তি মুকুন্দ না ধরে ॥ ১৭৪ ॥

मुकुन्द आछेन अन्तःपटेर बाहिरे सम्मुख हैते शक्ति मुकुन्द ना धरे ॥ १७४ ॥

mukunda āchena antaḥpaṭera bāhire sammukha haite śakti mukunda nā dhare || 174 ||

mukunda achena antahpatera bahire sammukha haite sakti mukunda na dhare (174)

English translation:

(174) Mukunda was sitting behind a curtain. He had no power to come before the Lord.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word antaḥpaṭa (antaḥ—“situated within” + paṭa—“curtain”) means “an interior curtain.”
