The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.10.91, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 91 of Madhya-khanda chapter 10—“Conclusion of the Lord’s Maha-prakasha Pastimes”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.10.91:

শচীর নন্দন, বাপ, কৃপা কর মোরে কুক্কুর করিযা মোরে রাখ ভক্ত-ঘরে” ॥ ৯১ ॥

शचीर नन्दन, बाप, कृपा कर मोरे कुक्कुर करिया मोरे राख भक्त-घरे” ॥ ९१ ॥

śacīra nandana, bāpa, kṛpā kara more kukkura kariyā more rākha bhakta-ghare” || 91 ||

sacira nandana, bapa, krpa kara more kukkura kariya more rakha bhakta-ghare” (91)

English translation:

(91) “O son of Śacī, O dear Lord, please be merciful to me. Kindly keep me in the house of a devotee as a dog.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

“As a landlord accepts animals like dogs as part of his household, engages them to protect his house, and rewards them with remnants of his food, similarly please put me in the house of a Vaiṣṇava as part of Kṛṣṇa’s household.”
