The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.10.45, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 45 of Madhya-khanda chapter 10—“Conclusion of the Lord’s Maha-prakasha Pastimes”.

যেবা গৌণ ছিল মোর প্রকাশ করিতে শীঘ্র আইলুঙ্ তোর দুঃখ না পারোঙ্ সহিতে ॥ ৪৫ ॥

येबा गौण छिल मोर प्रकाश करिते शीघ्र आइलुङ् तोर दुःख ना पारोङ् सहिते ॥ ४५ ॥

yebā gauṇa chila mora prakāśa karite śīghra āiluṅ tora duḥkha nā pāroṅ sahite || 45 ||

yeba gauna chila mora prakasa karite sighra ailun tora duhkha na paron sahite (45)

English translation:

(45) “Besides the other indirect reasons that made Me appear, I came quickly because I could not tolerate your distress.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Śrī Gaurasundara directly checked the envious persons’ attack on Haridāsa Ṭhākura and indirectly revealed His affection for His devotees by exhibiting the pastime of expressing inability to tolerate His devotee’s distress.
