The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.9.175, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 175 of Madhya-khanda chapter 9—“The Lord’s Twenty-One Hour Ecstasy and Descriptions of Shridhara and Other Devotees’ Characteristics”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.9.175:

“আর কি পসার নাহি” শ্রীধর যে বলে “অল্প কডি দিযা তথা কিন’ পাত-খোলে” ॥ ১৭৫ ॥

“आर कि पसार नाहि” श्रीधर ये बले “अल्प कडि दिया तथा किन’ पात-खोले” ॥ १७५ ॥

“āra ki pasāra nāhi” śrīdhara ye bale “alpa kaḍi diyā tathā kina’ pāta-khole” || 175 ||

“ara ki pasara nahi” sridhara ye bale “alpa kadi diya tatha kina’ pata-khole” (175)

English translation:

(175) “Are there no other shops?” Śrīdhara asked. “Go there and buy leaves cheaper.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

When the Lord forcibly took Śrīdhara’s goods, Śrīdhara asked, “Instead of taking from me, why don’t You go to another shopkeeper and buy banana leaves cheaper?”
