The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.9.174, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 174 of Madhya-khanda chapter 9—“The Lord’s Twenty-One Hour Ecstasy and Descriptions of Shridhara and Other Devotees’ Characteristics”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.9.174:

প্রভু বলে,—“জানি তুমি পরম চতুর খোলা-বেচা-অর্থ তোমার আছযে প্রচুর” ॥ ১৭৪ ॥

प्रभु बले,—“जानि तुमि परम चतुर खोला-वेचा-अर्थ तोमार आछये प्रचुर” ॥ १७४ ॥

prabhu bale,—“jāni tumi parama catura kholā-vecā-artha tomāra āchaye pracura” || 174 ||

prabhu bale,—“jani tumi parama catura khola-veca-artha tomara achaye pracura” (174)

English translation:

(174) The Lord said, “I know you are very clever. You have accumulated so much wealth by selling banana leaves.”
