The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.9.173, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 173 of Madhya-khanda chapter 9—“The Lord’s Twenty-One Hour Ecstasy and Descriptions of Shridhara and Other Devotees’ Characteristics”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.9.173:

শ্রীধর বলেন,—“শুন ব্রাহ্মণ ঠাকুর ক্ষমা কর মোরে, মুঞি তোমার কুক্কুর” ॥ ১৭৩ ॥

श्रीधर बलेन,—“शुन ब्राह्मण ठाकुर क्षमा कर मोरे, मुञि तोमार कुक्कुर” ॥ १७३ ॥

śrīdhara balena,—“śuna brāhmaṇa ṭhākura kṣamā kara more, muñi tomāra kukkura” || 173 ||

sridhara balena,—“suna brahmana thakura ksama kara more, muni tomara kukkura” (173)

English translation:

(173) Śrīdhara said, “Listen, O respected brāhmaṇa. Please forgive me, for I am Your dog.”
