The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.9.164, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 164 of Madhya-khanda chapter 9—“The Lord’s Twenty-One Hour Ecstasy and Descriptions of Shridhara and Other Devotees’ Characteristics”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.9.164:

সত্য-বাদীশ্রীধর যথার্থ মূল্য বলে অর্ধ-মূল্য দিযা প্রভু নিজ হস্তে তোলে ॥ ১৬৪ ॥

सत्य-वादीश्रीधर यथार्थ मूल्य बले अर्ध-मूल्य दिया प्रभु निज हस्ते तोले ॥ १६४ ॥

satya-vādīśrīdhara yathārtha mūlya bale ardha-mūlya diyā prabhu nija haste tole || 164 ||

satya-vadisridhara yathartha mulya bale ardha-mulya diya prabhu nija haste tole (164)

English translation:

(164) Although truthful Śrīdhara quoted a reasonable price, the Lord would take the goods at half price.
