The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.9.147, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 147 of Madhya-khanda chapter 9—“The Lord’s Twenty-One Hour Ecstasy and Descriptions of Shridhara and Other Devotees’ Characteristics”.

যতেক পাষণ্ডী বলে,—“শ্রীধরের ডাকে রাত্রে নিদ্রা নাহি যাই, দুই কর্ণ ফাটে মহাচাষা-বেটা ভাতে পেট নাহি ভরে ক্ষুধায ব্যাকুল হঞা রাত্রি জাগি’ মরে” ॥ ১৪৭-১৪৮ ॥
यतेक पाषण्डी बले,—“श्रीधरेर डाके रात्रे निद्रा नाहि याइ, दुइ कर्ण फाटे महाचाषा-बेटा भाते पेट नाहि भरे क्षुधाय व्याकुल हञा रात्रि जागि’ मरे” ॥ १४७-१४८ ॥
yateka pāṣaṇḍī bale,—“śrīdharera ḍāke rātre nidrā nāhi yāi, dui karṇa phāṭe mahācāṣā-beṭā bhāte peṭa nāhi bhare kṣudhāya vyākula hañā rātri jāgi’ mare” || 147-148 ||
yateka pasandi bale,—“sridharera dake ratre nidra nahi yai, dui karna phate mahacasa-beta bhate peta nahi bhare ksudhaya vyakula hana ratri jagi’ mare” (147-148)
English translation:
(147-148) All the atheists complained, “Due to Śrīdhara’s loud cries, we cannot sleep at night and our ears are broken. He is a low-class fellow who cannot fill his stomach. Being afflicted with hunger, he stays up all night.”
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
Not understanding the actual purport of chanting the holy names, the atheists said, “Since poor Śrīdhara is unable to earn his livelihood, he is incapable of procuring his food and clothes. Because he has nothing to eat, he therefore screams loudly the whole night in order to disturb the Supreme Lord and break the peace of ordinary people. Although such misdeeds are appropriate for a greatly uncivilized person like Śrīdhara,
we cannot approve of such kīrtana throughout the night.”
