The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.9.141, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 141 of Madhya-khanda chapter 9—“The Lord’s Twenty-One Hour Ecstasy and Descriptions of Shridhara and Other Devotees’ Characteristics”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.9.141:

তাহাতে যে কিছু হয দিবসে উপায তার অর্ধ গঙ্গার নৈবেদ্য লাগি’ যায ॥ ১৪১ ॥

ताहाते ये किछु हय दिवसे उपाय तार अर्ध गङ्गार नैवेद्य लागि’ याय ॥ १४१ ॥

tāhāte ye kichu haya divase upāya tāra ardha gaṅgāra naivedya lāgi’ yāya || 141 ||

tahate ye kichu haya divase upaya tara ardha gangara naivedya lagi’ yaya (141)

English translation:

(141) He offered half of whatever he earned in a day in worship of the Ganges.
