The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.9.48, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 48 of Madhya-khanda chapter 9—“The Lord’s Twenty-One Hour Ecstasy and Descriptions of Shridhara and Other Devotees’ Characteristics”.

যজ্ঞ-সূত্র যথা-শক্তি বস্ত্র-অলঙ্কার পূজিলেন করিযাষোডশ উপচার ॥ ৪৮ ॥

यज्ञ-सूत्र यथा-शक्ति वस्त्र-अलङ्कार पूजिलेन करियाषोडश उपचार ॥ ४८ ॥

yajña-sūtra yathā-śakti vastra-alaṅkāra pūjilena kariyāṣoḍaśa upacāra || 48 ||

yajna-sutra yatha-sakti vastra-alankara pujilena kariyasodasa upacara (48)

English translation:

(48) According to their capacity they offered brāhmaṇa thread, clothes, and ornaments. In this way they worshiped the Lord with sixteen
